New Delhi: Television actress Nia Sharma has been confirmed as the first contestant of the highly anticipated Bigg Boss Season 18. The announcement was made during the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, which aired on September 29.
In response to the media’s eagerness for comments, Nia took to her Instagram Stories to share a polite yet firm message. She requested that the media refrain from contacting her to discuss her participation in the show.
“Hi There! Please don’t call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe Maaf kardo. Mein nahi reply karungi. [Forgive me. I will not reply.]” Nia wrote, accompanied by a cute teddy bear GIF with an “I am sorry” sign.
Nia’s decision to maintain silence ahead of the show’s premiere has sparked curiosity among fans. Bigg Boss Season 18 is set to launch on October 6 and will air on Colors TV and stream on JioCinema. The show will once again be hosted by Salman Khan, with the theme “Time Ka Tandav.”
Nia Sharma has previously appeared in various TV shows, including Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, and Suhagan Chudail. Her participation in Bigg Boss 18 is highly anticipated.
The finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 saw Karan Veer Mehra emerge as the winner, taking home the trophy, ₹20 lakh, and a car. Jackie Shroff’s daughter, Krishna Shroff, finished as the first runner-up, while Gashmeer Mahajani secured the second runner-up spot.
