Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer Devara: Part 1 has taken the box office by storm, collecting ₹77 crore across all languages on its opening day. The action drama, directed by Koratala Siva, achieved an impressive 79.56% Telugu occupancy on Day 1.

Devara: Part 1 marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who plays the villainous Bhairava. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Shruti Marathe, Zarina Wahab, and Talluri Rameswari. Produced jointly by Sudhakar Mikkilineni, Kosaraju Harikrishna, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara: Part 1 promises an epic cinematic experience.

During a promotional interaction with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Jr NTR revealed the challenges of filming underwater sequences, which spanned 30-35 days. “We created a massive pool in the studio for these sequences, which are key to the film’s narrative,” he explained.

Devara: Part 1’s performance has garnered mixed reviews, with film critic Saibal Chatterjee awarding 2.5 out of 5 stars in his NDTV review.
