New Delhi – In a significant development, Noel Tata, half-brother of the late Ratan Tata, has been appointed Chairman of Tata Trust. This decision follows a board meeting held in Mumbai, where Noel succeeds Ratan Tata, who passed away at 86.
Ratan Tata’s demise marked the end of an era in Indian business. As Chairman of Tata Sons, he transformed the family-owned conglomerate into a global powerhouse.
Noel Tata, Vice Chairman of Tata Steel and Titan, brings extensive experience to his new role. Since joining the Tata Group in the early 2000s, he has played a pivotal part in its growth.
